The Digital Bedouin - The World in a Digital Age!

I think I finally finished digesting all the food from Thursday and all the booze has been flushed out of my system. First time for a deep fried turkey and I must say it was pretty good. Jeff also did a good job and didn’t shoot it across the driveway, so that’s a plus.

My green bean casserole was a little soupy, but a couple of hours in a warming oven and it turned out pretty good. The herring salad on the other hand didn’t go over so well. Oh well, more for me. It is an acquired taste, but I didn’t think it was that hard to acquire. So. note to self for next year: 4lbs of green beans and not 2 and a small bowl of herring salad for me and make a 2nd dish for everyone else

All in all a good Thanksgiving weekend, although I hear I missed out on some venison stew with knoedel at my parents house. Dry-ice and Fedex Overnight
